CTK Single-Use COVID-19 Antigen Test Receives CE Mark

The Poway, California-based company will begin shipping the test this month. 

The OnSite COVID-19 Ag Self Test is a single-use, lateral flow immunoassay to qualitatively detect SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigens in nasal swab specimens within the first seven days after the onset of COVID-19 symptoms, CTK said.

The company was acquired last year by SSI Diagnostica, based in Copenhagen, Denmark. CTK also offers tests for adenovirus, chikungunya, influenza A/B, and other ailments, according to its website.
