Haier Biomedical acquired Suzhou Kangsheng to lay out the field of laboratory consumables

On December 5, Haier Biomedical expanded the field of laboratory disposable plastic consumables through the acquisition of Suzhou Kangsheng Biological Co., Ltd. ("Suzhou Kangsheng" for short), accelerating the extension of smart laboratory application scenarios.

This acquisition is another landing of Haier's biological life science digital scene ecology, and it is also an important guarantee for the company to build sustainable ecological capabilities and realize the continuous upgrading of the "product + service" model.

Suzhou Kangsheng's main business is the R&D, manufacturing and sales of laboratory plastic consumables. The company's main products are tips and molecular consumables, and is currently expanding the fields of cryopreservation, cell culture, and microbial applications. Suzhou Kangsheng has a mature technology platform and manufacturing process, including polymer material modification technology, precision injection molding technology, multi-cavity mold design, and high-level automation production technology. In 2022, the company's revenue will be nearly 100 million yuan.

After the acquisition, the two parties will jointly create a global leading brand of laboratory consumables to provide users with cost-effective, high-quality laboratory consumables solutions. On the basis of Suzhou Kangsheng's mature technology platform and manufacturing process, through Haier's global channel network and brand influence, the two parties will continue to break through the barriers on technical, brand and channel to establish differentiated competitive advantages, accelerate the development of overseas markets.
