Mindray and The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University signed a strategic cooperation agreement

On February 26, Mindray and the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University held a signing ceremony at Mindray headquarters in Shenzhen and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in medical-industrial integration and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

Zhao Yuxiang, General Manager of Mindray, said that in recent years, the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University had reached remarkable results by national standards and the two parties had established stable foundation for further cooperation. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, faced with supply chain disruption, Mindray shouldered the social responsibilities to overcome difficulties and witness the rapid development of industry. 

Through future collaboration, Mindray hopes to listen to clinicians’ voice, jointly research, develop and promote medical-industrial-information integration, work together to solve the difficulties in work, promote the products integration, iteration and upgrading that can better meet clinical needs, and jointly move towards ASEAN to realize mutual benefit and win-win progress.

Chen Junqiang, President of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, said that as a co-sponsor of the China-ASEAN cross-border medical cooperation platform, the hospital built up a deep cooperation foundation with Mindray. To develop a high-quality hospital, high-quality partners are essential to realize "five strategies" and "three centers & one platform" that shows broad prospects for the cooperation between two parties. 

The hospital hopes the cooperation can take clinical needs as the guide, integrate medical and industrial achievements, jointly research and develop to advance the development and integrate the whole chain of medical devices, aiding the high-quality development of medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and management, provide high-quality and efficient medical service and help the construction of Health China and Healthy Guangxi.
