iHealth Signed Orders for COVID-19 Reagents, With the Total Amount Increased to About USD 1.275 billion

iHealth announced that it was disclosed in the previous announcement that the U.S. subsidiary of the company and the ACC of U.S. signed a purchase contract on ihealth coronavirus antigen home self-test OTC kit products ("ihealth kit") on January 13, 2022 local time on behalf of HHS (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services), purchasing a total of 250 million iHealth kit products. The total amount of contract price is USD 1.275 billion (including tax &freight), about RMB 8.102 billion.


On January 26, 2022 US local time, the US subsidiary signed a change contract with ACC on the original purchase contract. On the basis of the purchase of 250 million iHealth kit products in the original contract, 104 million iHealth kit products were purchased. Due to the above changes, the total amount of contract price tax increased by about US $500 million (excluding freight) or about RMB 3.162 billion, and the total contract amount increased from US $1.275 billion to US $1.775 billion or about RMB 11.226 billion.


According to the annual performance noticed by iHealth, 2021 continues to be affected by global COVID-19, the sales performance of New Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) antigen self-testing OTC kit product has greatly increased in the US market, which has contributed to a significant increase in operating performance in 2021. The net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company is expected to be CNY 900 million to CNY 1.2 billion, an increase of 271.40% - 395.19% over the same period of the previous year.
