Fanny Chen, Vice President of Abbott China Core Diagnostics

John Chen, Global Vice President of Abbott and Vice President of Abbott China Core Diagnostics, is leaving Abbott, and Fanny Chen has been appointed as the new Vice President of Core Diagnostics in China.

Tony has over 20 years’ experience in the Greater China healthcare industry. Before joining Abbott, Tony has worked for several Global 500 companies with executive management role. He also worked at various locations including US, Singapore, Hong Kong and Mainland China with different responsibilities. Currently Tony is Vice-President of China Society of Medical Laboratory Equipment and Vice-Chairman of China Medical Equipment Artificial Intelligence Alliance.

Fanny Chen has been appointed as the new Vice President of Abbott China Core Diagnostics, reporting to GregAhl berg, Senior Vice President, Core Laboratory Diagnostics Commercial Operation. In this capacity, Fanny will lead our Core Diagnostics China team.

Fanny joined Abbott in 2001 and has extensive experience in prcurement, finance, supply chain and manufacturing/quality. Most recently, Fanny served as Divisional Vice President of Greater China Supply Chain and Strategic Relations in Abbott’s Nutrition business. (Content source: Internal email)
