3 China Companies Obtained 7.7 Billion CNY COVID-19 Antigen Order From Britain

On March 21, the British Gov. web announced that three procurement contracts for COVID-19 antigen reagents. Orient Gene, ACON Biotech and Getein Biotech indirectly won the contracts of ￡ 595 million, ￡ 237.8 million and ￡ 85 million respectively. The three contracts start on February 23 and the deadline is August 20.

The 3 companies of TANNER PHARMA UK LIMITED, MEDCO SOLUTIONS LTD & PHARMACEUTICALS DIRECT LIMITED won the contracts of antigen reagents announced by British Gov. with values of ￡ 595 million, ￡ 237.8 million and ￡ 85 million respectively. Orient Gene shares 65% on the total value of ￡ 917.8 million.

￡ 917.8 million equals to 7.7 billion CNY.

The signed contract with TANNER PHARMA UK LIMITED is about 5 billion CNY, which is to supply the COVID-19 antigen self-test reagent to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) by Orient Gene. 2 billion CNY contract signed by MEDCO SOLUTIONS LTD & ACON Biotech is to supply the COVID-19 antigen self-test reagent to HSE. And Getein Biotech signed the contract with PHARMACEUTICALS DIRECT LIMITED.
