Thermo Fisher Scientific Announces Construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area base

Recently, Thermo Fisher Scientific signed a cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Commission, announcing that Thermo Fisher Scientific Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area base will be established in the Guangzhou Development Zone. The base is scheduled to be ready for production in 2023 with clean plants, production processes and facilities.

The planned new site in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is located in the International Biomedical Innovation Center of the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, covering an area of approximately 16,000 square meters and is planned to include life science, biopharmaceutical, reagent, R&D and manufacturing centre and scientific instrument manufacturing. The completed base will leverage Thermo Fisher Scientific's cutting-edge technology to produce high value-added products including high-end laboratory equipment, analytical instruments and laboratory consumables.
