10X Genomics Receives $35 million in Series D Financing

Recently, 10X Genomics announced a new round of funding during JPM. The fiancing of D round raised 35 million dollars,led by Meritech Capital and backed by Fidelity, Wells Fargo, Paladin Capital and softbank.
10X Genomics is a leader in the gene sequencing industry, providing accurate and complete gene sequencing services to research institutions around the world. Founded in 2012, 10X Genomics is a high-profile black horse in the field of gene sequencing. It has been well received by capital and has accumulated a total of 243 million dollars in just a few years.
In the past six months, 10X Genomics has made two significant acquisitions: Epinomics, an epigenetics-focused company, and Spatial Transcriptomics, a developer of two-dimensional gene expression technology. These two acquisitions have further cemented 10X Genomics as the leader in the gene-sequencing industry.
From 2015 to 2017, 10X Genomics' revenue increased 20 times, which also reflects the strong demand for its genetic sequencing products.
