BioMérieux Gets CE Mark for Next-Gen Immunoassay System

French diagnostics maker BioMérieux said on Tuesday that it has received CE marking for its Vidas Kube automated immunoassay system.

The Vidas Kube is a stackable, modular benchtop instrument that runs BioMérieux's line of Vidas tests for emergency and critical care, immunochemistry, infectious diseases, and food industry pathogens.

BioMérieux said it expects to launch the Vidas Kube in select countries in early 2023, with a wider rollout beginning in the second quarter of that year. It added that the system is expected to eventually replace its Mini Vidas and Vidas instruments.
