A reporter from the Health Times verified with the help of China Association of In-Vitro Diagnostics, National Association Health Industry Enterprise Management that the manufacturer of the test kit is a local Chinese company-Xiamen Biotime Biotechnology Co.,Ltd. located in Fujian Province.

It turns out that this is not only a test kit supplied to #G7. In order to encourage everyone to perform virus tests twice a week, the British government has launched this universal "Lateral Flow Test" rapid test kit.

Unlike the PCR test commonly used in laboratories, this LFT test only takes 30 minutes to get results, and the specificity is at least 99.9% (less than one false positive result for every 1,000 tests), so it is suitable for rapid self-test. It can screen out people who have no symptoms of COVID-19 but are infectious.

The test kit can be obtained free of charge on the official website of the British government. In fact, in order to realize the national testing program, the British government has spent more than 1.3 billion pounds, ordered 384 million virus test kits, and plans to spend more than 900 million pounds.
