Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. ( “Mindray”) has agreed to acquire 75% equity interest in DiaSys Diagnostic Systems GmbH (“DiaSys”) from Gorka Holding GmbH, through Mindray Medical Netherlands B.V. (“Mindray Netherlands”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mindray’s wholly-owned subsidiary MR Global (HK) Limited, for an all-cash preliminary purchase price of approx. €115 million.
Recently, Wondfo Bio and Merck, a leading global technology company, held a globalization cooperation seminar and unanimously decided to deepen the cooperation on the basis of the pilot cooperation in the previous period, expanding the project coverage area and the population, and joining hands to enhance the accessibility of the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases at the grassroots level in the world.
According to Kalorama Information, the U.S. IVD market reached $53 billion in 2022, or approximately 40% to 45% of the global market. Projected growth is 2.4% annually on average through 2027.
