MGI Tech and Yeasen reached a strategic cooperation

On March 10, 2023, Shenzhen MGI Tech Co.,Ltd. and Yeasen Biotechnology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. officially reached a strategic cooperation to promote the localization of high-throughput sequencing (NGS) reagents and instruments in China. 

The signing ceremony was held at the headquarter of Yeasen Biotechnology in Shanghai. Jiang Hui, Chief Operating Officer of MGI Tech, Zhao Ming, National Director of MGI Tech's Major Customers, Huang Weihua, Chairman and CEO of Yeasen Biotechnology, and Zhou Qihao, Vice President of Yeasen Biotechnology, attended the signing ceremony. The two sides discussed ideas and exchanged opinions on topics such as NGS localization substitution and overseas cooperation. At the signing ceremony, Jiang Hui and Huang Weihua signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of MGI Tech and Yeasen Biotechnology respectively.

The successful signing of the strategic cooperation between MGI Tech and Yeasen Biotechnology marked that the two parties have reached a joint brand promotion for automated library construction instruments, and jointly facilitate the localization of NGS reagents and instruments to replace the process and create an ecology of the NGS industry chain.
